Logo
Three shapes — mark, wordmark, lockup — each with a small set of variants. The full-color mark is the primary form. Mono variants cover print and dark-surface contexts.
Mark
The icon-only mark. A horizon line crossed by a sun-triangle (sail) above and a sea-triangle (hull) below. Built on a 24×24 grid for crisp rendering at 16, 32, and 48 px.
Full color
Two-tone primary. --ws-sun for the sail, --ws-sea for the waterline and hull.
Mono — ink
Single-color rendering for print, embossing, or any single-color context on a light surface.
Mono — paper
For dark or photographic backgrounds. Pair with a tinted scrim if the underlying contrast is unstable.
Wordmark
Lowercase 'weathership' in Inter 600 with custom kerning. Use when the mark would be redundant alongside running text.
Lockup
Mark + wordmark combined. The horizontal lockup is the default; the stacked lockup fits square placements (avatars, app tiles, stickers).
Safe area & minimum size
Minimum clear space around any logo: one cap-height of the wordmark on every side. For the mark alone, use the height of the waterline stroke as the unit.
Minimum sizes:
- Mark only — 6 mm in print, 16 px on screen.
- Wordmark — 18 mm in print, 80 px on screen.
- Horizontal lockup — 24 mm in print, 120 px on screen.
- Stacked lockup — 18 mm in print, 96 px on screen.
Below these sizes, switch to a smaller variant or omit the logo.
